Shoe Review: de la Rue Sandals

Fellow shoeaholic Erin recently reviewed the de la Rue Eco Sassy Sandals in Silver. De la Rue supports the use of sustainable materials in the production of their sandals:

  • The soles are cut out of old tires making each pair unique in its tread.
  • Top quality biodegradable Italian synthetic leather that is breathable and flexible.
  • Packaging and communication uses recycled paper.
  • All shoes are handmade in Portugal.

And here is what Erin had to say about them:

I love the metallic color of the shoes, but not so much on the fit.   The strap across the top is a little tight, so the shoes tend to slip off as  I walk.    The silver  buckle is very cute  but a little big in size and rubbed the top of my foot.
