Shoe Fetish vs. Watch Fetish

I’ve always had a shoe fetish, but years ago, I used to have a watch fetish as well. Just as I color coordinated my shoes to my outfits (I had canvas sneakers in every color), I also color coordinated my watches. Remember Swatches? Oh yeah, I still have mine saved in my hope chest, complete with the swatch face protectors!

Now, probably due to the fact that I’m a busy single mom of four, I find myself wearing my two-tone Fossil watch all of the time that matches everything I wear.   And although I do own hundreds (yes, that’s plural) of pairs of shoes, most of them are black or brown tones. I don’t wear as many bright and bold colors as I did when I was younger (and thinner).

After seeing the watches on sale at, I definitely see a few watch brands I’d love to add to my wardrobe, such as ESQ, Cartier and the Sartego Diamond Collection (shown). I’ll pass on the Casio G-Shock watches, though.
