The first thing that come to my mind when I hear the name brand “Dockers” is men’s khaki pants on sale on JCPenney. But did you know that Dockers makes footwear as well? Yep, Genesco, Inc. began manufacturing and marketing Dockers footwear under a license agreement with the Levi Strauss and Company twenty years ago in 1992. Mind you, they are mostly brown men’s oxfords and boat shoes and a few dressy sandals (currently on sale at HouserShoes.com) that would all compliment the khaki pants quite nicely, but they make a few women’s styles as well.
And the Dockers women’s styles are definitely “Kim approved”. For instance, can’t you just see me wearing some Dockers Chana Slide Sandals (photo shown above). This stylish slide sandal blends a little comfort with a little fashion by offering a synthetic criss-cross upper vamp that allows for the calm summer breeze to cool your foot (which is needed in today’s 100 degree heat index). The Dockers Chana also features a 2 1/2″ wedge heel (the perfect height for me). Plus this sandal supports your foot with a dynamic man-made sole that makes it as easy to wear as it is versatile. I wish I would have had these to wear to church tonight (yes, our church offers services on Monday nights).
